During the booking process on our website, you will be asked to consent to receive text messages from Harbs Farm. We send two types of SMS messages:

1. Transactional Messages (Required)

SMS consent for transactional messages is required to use our online booking system, as text messages are how we communicate essential order updates. These messages include:

• Order status updates and confirmations
• Scheduling and drop-off reminders
• Pickup notifications when your order is ready
• Important updates about your processing order

Customers who prefer not to receive SMS may contact us directly to place an order.

2. Promotional Messages (Optional)

You may optionally opt in to receive promotional messages including special offers, seasonal updates, and news from Harbs Farm. This consent is entirely optional and is not required to use our services.

Message Frequency

Transactional message frequency varies based on your order activity. You will typically receive 2-5 messages per booking. Promotional messages are sent no more than 4 times per month.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Harbs Farm does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier's standard messaging rates may apply.

Opt-Out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.

Information We Collect

When you place a booking through our website, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and optionally your business or farm name. This information is used to manage your processing order, communicate with you about your booking, and process payments.

• To process and manage your meat processing orders
• To communicate order updates via email and SMS (with consent)
• To process deposit payments securely through Square
• To improve our services

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to provide our services (e.g., payment processing through Square, SMS delivery through Twilio, email delivery through Resend).

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. Payment information is processed securely through Square and is never stored on our servers.
